God Is For Me

 

Hi! 

Today I am going to share a little bit about the quiet time that I had this morning. As I was reading my Bible I came across Psalm 56:9 and it says: '... This I know, that God is for me.' I thought that this is such an important statement to ponder on. Often I catch myself thinking in a way that indicates that God is against me. So what does is truly mean that God is for us? What does that look like? This is a little bit of what I wrote down about that in my journal: 

"It means that His heart is for us to succeed, to thrive. It means that He wants to help us. It ultimately means that He is so committed to us, that He sent His one and only Son to die for us so that we can spend eternity with Him." 

My little takeaway from this morning is that God is not working against me, and not working against you! He loves us. He is good!! The Bible testifies of this, and frankly, so does my life as well. 

Today I want to challenge you to think about the times in your life that you clearly saw that the Lord is good. It will refresh you!
